I have known Dennis Almeida for five years, and in that time, we have had him paint for us on three separate occasions. As long as
Dennis is still a painter, we will never hire another. This is why:
Dennis is an experienced professional. From the moment he steps into the home to assess a job for an estimate, it is clear through
his questions, suggestions and approach that he knows this business thoroughly. He is knowledgeable about the paint products, effects
of colors, types of paints and surfaces, questions of care and longevity, and much more, I am sure. Dennis freely shares this
information, making the client feel he/she is in the hands of an expert.
Dennis paints beautifully. Over the years, we have had Dennis paint interior walls, cabinets in bathrooms and kitchens and trim
moldings. Each time, we are impressed at how the paint transforms the room, giving it a new look altogether. After this most recent
job, when Dennis painted our downstairs in bright, catching colors, we feel like we live in a new home.
Dennis and his crew are neat, clean and efficient. Not too many homeowners look forward to a crew of workmen marching into their
homes for a few consecutive days of work. Dennis, however, is another story. Their materials and cloths are clean; they are mindful
of any dust and debris their work generates and thoroughly clean up afterwards; there is NEVER a drop of paint anywhere one does not
belong.
Dennis is reliable and responsible. When Dennis tells you he will call on a specific day at a certain time, wait by your phone. When
Dennis tells you he will arrive at a certain time for the job, that doorbell ring will be him and his crew. For my husband and I, both
full-time professionals, we required a certain set of dates and times for the painting work to be done. Dennis put us on his calendar,
called to confirm the week and night before, and showed up exactly according to plan.
Dennis and his crew are nice guys. This may seem like a relatively minor point for some, but not for me. When I open my front door
and let people in my home, I want to know they are friendly and good people. Dennis is a delight to talk to and has many stories of his
family, his work and growing up around the valley. I find myself entranced, watching him paint so perfectly and precisely, while
listening to him recount his stories.
Dennis’ work is fairly and competitively priced. I don’t even bother getting estimates from other painters anymore. I know
I like Dennis’ work, and his estimates are always fair. I always feel like I have gotten our money’s worth when he completes a job for
us.
I will recommend Dennis Almeida for any friend or neighbor who would like painting work done.
